A Lao logistics company, growing since 2000
INTER Transport Co., Ltd. was founded in 2000 and has operated ever since as a 100% domestically invested company. It is one of the leading transport and logistics service providers in the Lao PDR.
We provide transportation, cargo transshipment, warehousing, customs documentation and transport and logistics consulting, for import, export and transit cargo.
Today we have more than 200 employees with expertise in transportation, warehouse systems, languages, IT and marketing.

History & Milestones
2000
Company founded and began transport operations
2004
Transported power transformers and equipment from Thailand to a 115 kV transmission line and substation project at Ban Na, Attapeu Province
2006
Transported machinery and equipment for the Xe Set 2 hydropower project (76 MW) in Salavan Province and the Nam Ngum 2 hydropower project (615 MW) in Vientiane Province
2008
Opened branches in Luang Namtha and Bokeo provinces, and transported for the Nam Lik 1–2 hydropower project (100 MW): 60,000 metric tons using 550 trucks
2009
Opened the Khammouane branch and transported for the Nam Ngum 5 hydropower project (120 MW)
2011
Partnered with the Lao International Logistics State Enterprise to develop and operate the cross-border warehouse system at the Napao International Border Checkpoint, Khammouane Province
2015
Transport and documentation for the Nabong – Thabok – Khoksaad 230 kV transmission line construction project and the Lak Xao substation
2017
Signed the agreement to establish Lao International ICD Co., Ltd.; operations began on 28 March 2018
2021
Received authorization to provide rail freight services domestically and internationally; first shipment on 2 December 2021
2022
Signed the concession agreement with the government for the Thakhek Dry Port project on 28 January 2022
2024
Completed many projects and received awards in multiple categories, recognized by the government and by customers
2026
Completed a durian shipment from the Kingdom of Cambodia to China
